He saved Ben Toseland’s free kick and then an Aaron O’Connor shot from close in. Lindon Meikle had a good chance but fired over the bar. Stevens forced another good save by Cerga before Kettering went two up on 19 minutes. Toseland’s corner was missed by Cerga and Stevens prodded in from a few yards. Cerga then saved well from Stevens and Michael Richens put a free kick over the bar. Stevens was a live wire for Kettering and fired wide from a good chance. Then Cerga saved the striker’s header and again saved a Stevens shot. As Kettering poured forward, keeper Paul White was a spectator. Cerga saved from Stohrer,Richens and Stevens, and was having a great game. The keeper couldn’t prevent a third goal though on 42 minutes as Stohrer’s cross was firmly headed home by O’Connor. Half Time DAVENTRY TOWN 0 - 3 KETTERING TOWN Rene Howe replaced Gary Mulligan at centre half at the start of the half.
