Away in League Cup next up

Our next game is away at AFC Rushden and Diamonds on Tuesday 14th November in the Bigfreebet League Challenge Cup. Kick off is at 7.45pm. Should the game be tied at the end of 90 minutes there will be a penalty shoot out.

Directions: (about 9 miles- your journey should take 15 minutes):
A6 onto by-pass and exit at junction with Newton Road, go past cemetery and turn sharp right after Risdene Academy onto Hayden Road. There is NO parking at the ground. Supporters are advised to park in the town centre car parks and walk. If parking on street please park responsibly, not blocking drives etc.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS GAME IS SEGREGATED:
Kettering supporters will be at the Maple Road end, with a dedicated entrance at the side of the clubhouse. A food van and toilets are available and the Oak Room will be used as a bar and will be open for visiting supporters, but this will close after half time.

Still managed by Andy Peaks, the Diamonds are playing this season in the Evo-Stik League South,East Division, where they are having a good season. They currently (7th November) lie in 5th place in the league table with 23 points from their 13 games. Their home record is good with 3 wins and 3 draws in their 7 games to date. The Poppies games against them have been few, the latest in the Hillier Cup last season at Latimer Park, and the season before in the final of the Hillier Cup at Sixfields. In their squad could be a number of ex Poppies: Ben Ford,Blaize Punter,Ben Farrell,Joel Gyasi,Joe Curtis,Claudiu Hoban, Ross Oulton and CallumWestwood.
