The Blues are managed by Tony McCool and are having a very difficult season, having decided to remain at this level after their previous Chairman resigned. All credit to the Committee running the Club. Currently they lie in 24th place in the table with 6 points from their 24 games. Their away record sees 2 draws and 10 defeats in their 12 games to date. Last season saw the Poppies lose the home game 3-1 at Latimer Park in September, but some revenge was gained at Dunstable last February with a narrow 3-2 win. Dunstable keeper Nick Hayes is highly rated and has previously linked up with the England under 19 team.
