James Brighton has announced that he has left the club, a post on social media read, " Due to personal reasons I've made the decision to leave Kettering Town. It's been a great 5 years ever since Alan Doyle got me to the club and everyone from the board all the way through to the fans have been a privilege to play for. I have no doubt Kettering will start climbing the table under the new manager and the club wil keep climbing back to where they belong. It's been a pleasure". - Brights.

James made his debut at Poole in 2015 and last played for the club against Spennymoor earlier this month. He made 129 appearances scoring 13 goals and was the Player of the Year for season 2015-16.  The, Chairman, Owner and Board of Directors would like to thank James for his time with the club, he was a popular figure with the fans, and would like to wish him all the very best for his future.
