ItalyWe are delighted to announce that exciting winger Edimond Abisa Oppong has signed for the club, subject to league approval. ‘Eddie’ has previously played for Union EuroCalcio (Italy), Middlesbrough U21, Belper Town and Mickleover FC.
Eddy has featured in the club’s preseason games, most notably in the 2-0 win at Desborough Town, scoring the first goal on 17 minutes, with his lethal left foot.
He has dynamic skills with pace and is sure to be a Poppies crowd pleaser. We would like to welcome Eddy to Latimer Park and hope he has an enjoyable and successful career with the Poppies.
