A multi award-winning charity inspired by 18-year-old Mikayla Beames BEM, who has fought brain cancer since the age of four. Founded in 2014, it has raised over £350,000, providing “Treasure Boxes” to more than 350 children and supporting four hospitals: John Radcliffe Oxford, Leicester Royal Infirmary, Bristol Royal Infirmary, and Nottingham University Hospital. Run entirely by volunteers, including lifelong Poppies fan Brendon Lovell-Moore, the team has taken on challenges from skydives and wing-walking to marathons and mountain treks.
