Wes was a Richard Lavery signing during the closed season having joined the Poppies from Coalville Town. Wes’s career began at Anstey Nomads, before spells at Nuneaton Borough, Wrexham, Gateshead, York City and Brackley Town. He has played at the highest levels of non-league football and has featured against the Poppies in the past for Brackley and last season’s final home game against Coalville Town.
