Sports Rehabilitator Michael Hunter

Michael is a Sports Rehabilitator with experience across both academy and first team football environments. He previously worked within the sports science department at Northampton town FC’s academy, and supported the First Team Head of Medical at Northampton Town FC as a Sports Therapist Intern, gaining valuable insight into elite level rehabilitation and player care during their League One campaign.

Now in his third season as the club’s Sports Rehabilitator, Michael brings consistency, professionalism, and a strong foundation in injury assessment, rehabilitation planning, and evidence-based practice. currently completing his MSc in Physiotherapy, he is committed to continually developing his clinical expertise to provide the highest standard of care – helping players return to performance safely and efficiently.
