The excitement is building as Kettering Town FC prepares to take on Northampton Town in the Emirates FA Cup First Round on Saturday, 2nd November 2024. We know you’ve already started practicing your chants and thinking about how many goals we will be in front of Spurs in the all-time team FA goal scoring record. However, before you dust off the lucky shirt, let’s talk about tickets. Yes, that hot topic causing quite a stir among the Poppies faithful.
First, a little appreciation. Kettering Town understands just how important this tie is to our supporters, and we’re genuinely thrilled to see the buzz it’s creating. The passion is real. However, whilst we would love to pack the stands with all of you, we have a limited ticket allocation and demand is definitely going to exceed supply.
So, here’s the plan: a proportion of our allocated tickets will go to certain key groups, such as season ticket holders, club volunteers, and sponsors etc. However, we have created an equitable way to give every fan an optimal chance of at attending the match. Therefore, the club will be introducing a voucher system for the two home games at Latimer Park before the FA Cup tie, namely, AFC Sudbury on 19th October 2024 and Stourbridge on the 22 October 2024.
Here’s how it works: attend and pay for entry either (or both) of our next two home games at Latimer Park (as above), and you’ll receive a voucher at the turnstiles. These vouchers are one-per-person, one-per-game, so if you come to both, you can receive a maximum of two vouchers. The vouchers can be then used as part of the ticket sales allocation. If you are allocated a ticket, then you must ensure that you purchase the tickets within the allotted time period. Tickets are strictly limited to one per season ticket / voucher set.
Now, before you start camping outside the turnstiles, it’s worth noting that these vouchers do not guarantee a ticket to the First Round FA Cup tie, and they are limited in number. However, they will provide the means to ensure a higher priority for individual fans for the general sale ticket allocation, details of which will be made available via the official KTFC website shortly. It’s our way of giving a reward to those who’ve been with us through thick and thin plus, it’s an extra reason to cheer on the Poppies at Latimer Park.
The priority order of sale will be as follows :-
1) Season Ticket Holders
2) Holders of vouchers from both games (19th & 22nd)
3) Holders of a single match voucher
4) General sale
Full details of how the final allocation will work will be revealed soon, so keep your checking the official Kettering Town website and social media channels for further information. In the meantime, if you’ve got any burning questions (not including whether the club mascot can get you a ticket), contact us at info@ketteringtownfc.com.
Please ensure that you arrive at the respective home matches in plenty of time to experience the Latimer Park hospitality, receive your voucher and to enjoy the game.
Get ready, Poppies fans—This is one not to miss.
