We can announce that midfielder Huw Dawson has joined Bedford Town. He made his debut for the Eagles as a substitute last Saturday at St Ives Town.

Huw joined the Poppies from St Albans City where he was a regular during the Saints Vanarama National League South campaign. Moving to Nottingham University, Huw combined his studies with playing for Kettering making 34 appearances, scoring 2 goals.

He was injured (lower arm) during pre-season, and after rehabilitation, joined Shepshed Dynamo on a dual registration to gain much needed game time.

We would like to thank Huw for his contributions last season and wish him the very best for his future.
