Kettering Town FC are delighted to announce the signing of prolific goal scorer Leon Lobjoit marking a significant statement of intent ahead of the new campaign.
Fresh from a stellar season at Bedford Town, where his 26 goals fired The Eagles to promotion to the Vanarama National League North, Lobjoit now makes the move to Latimer Park, bolstering the Poppies’ attacking line with proven firepower. Among those 26 strikes was a clinical finish against Kettering in Bedford’s 3–1 win at The New Eyrie, a performance that underlined his pedigree.
At 28, Lobjoit is no stranger to the English non-league circuit. His career to date spans a host of clubs, including Hemel Hempstead, Leighton Town, Northampton Town, Corby Town (loan), Nuneaton Town (Loan), Banbury United (Loan), Oxford City and St Neots Town, but it was at Bedford where the striker truly came into his own — blending strength, pace and instinctive finishing to become a talismanic presence.
