Our first game in 2025 sees us on the road just up the road to Harborough Town FC. The Bees are fresh from their Boxing Day draw away to Barwell 2-2 and an emphatic 4-0 win at home to Leiston. Although December witnessed a mixed set of results losing at home to Alvechurch 0-1 and away at St Ives 4-1 with a win against Biggleswade Town 2-3.
Although separated by only 21 miles, the league table tells a different story where 17 points and 16 places make the difference between the two teams. The Poppies are hoping for a more clinical response in front of goal following a 3-3 draw against 10 man Stratford Town and a win against Biggleswade Town on Boxing Day. There will be a host of familiar faces in the Harborough side and the match promises goals for the start of 2025. Enjoy the match. COYP!
