New Signing For The Poppies

Manager Richard Lavery, true to his word, has been active once again in the transfer market with the vastly experienced defender Alex Gudger joining the club on loan from Brackley Town for the rest of the season.

Alex’s career started at Bedworth United before spells at Rugby Town, Worcester City, Brackley (first spell), Solihull Moors, Brackley (second spell) and AFC Telford United (on loan from Brackley) where he played against the Poppies in November as the Bucks succumbed to a 1-3 home defeat.

Alex has been on Lav’s radar for quite a while and he is delighted to get this signing over the line as the Poppies strive towards the finishing line of this exciting season.

We would like to wish Alex every success at Latimer Park, he goes straight into the squad for the game at AFC Sudbury today.
