We are delighted to announce that exciting winger Edimond Abisa Oppong has signed for the club, subject to league approval. ‘Eddy’ has previously played for Union EuroCalcio (Italy), Middlesbrough U21, Belper Town and Mickleover FC,
Eddy played the first half for Simon Hollyhead’s side yesterday in the 2-0 win at Desborough Town, scoring the first goal on 17 minutes, with his lethal left foot.
He has dynamic skills with pace and is sure to be a Poppies crowd pleaser. See him in action against Moulton FC on Saturday 19th 2025 in the Northants Senior Cup 1st round tie at Brunting Road.
We would like to welcome Eddy to Latimer Park and hope he has an enjoyable and successful career with the Poppies.
