After the heartache of the Playoff Final, we have distracted ourselves by starting major ground works this week. The Latimer Park pitch has looked amazing over the past few games and indeed, last season where we have had no postponed matches due to waterlogged surfaces.
We are adding to the drainage installed last summer with an estimated £14,000 worth of works, so when this work is completed, we will for the first time have a drainage ring around the whole of the pitch. This will not only ensure that the pitch will benefit from state of the art drainage, but also provide an excellent playing surface to enable our teams to be successful next season.
