We are pleased to be continuing our partnership with FW Abbott, a local business that supports Kettering Town FC and offers vehicle services to drivers and businesses in the area.
We value the continued support of our commercial partners since it enables us to plan for the future and also strengthens the links between the club, our supporters, and the local business community.
We are glad to have FW Abbott with us and would like to thank their team for their ongoing support of the Poppies.
A Local Partnership We’re Proud to Continue
We at Kettering Town FC regard it as important to work with companies that have a similar dedication to the local community, and FW Abbott is a suitable part of our network of partners since it provides services to motorists and commercial vehicle operators in Kettering and Northamptonshire.
The company is famous in the local area for its expertise in HGVs, but it also provides services for cars and vans via a special autocentre. This ensures that there is a wide range of options available for Poppies supporters, should they need an MOT for their family car or maintenance for their business vehicle.
Commenting on the partnership previously, FW Abbott’s Managing Director, Lawrence Burton, described Kettering Town as:
A great club with a substantial history and strong ties within the community.
We are glad to be maintaining a relationship based on that connection with our town.
Introducing FW Abbott’s Vehicle Services
We would like supporters to become familiar with the businesses that support the club; for those in need of vehicle servicing or repairs, FW Abbott offers a variety of options for private motorists, owner-drivers and fleet operators.
HGV Services in Kettering
Since it is an authorised DAF service dealer, FW Abbott provides HGV services in Kettering, such as servicing, inspections, repairs, diagnostics, brake testing and MOT preparation.
They work with operators who run single trucks as well as those who manage larger fleets. By carrying out planned maintenance and regular inspections potential problems can be detected and unavoidable downtime can be reduced, thus ensuring that businesses remain operational.
FW Abbott can look into the maintenance requirements and organise appropriate servicing and repair support for local companies which have commercial vehicles.
Car and Van Services for Supporters
Together with the car services as routine servicing, MOT testing, repairs and tyre fitting—FW Abbott carries out work on commercial vehicles. The autocentre also caters for van owners.
If your vehicle needs its next service, requires new tyres or has a fault, their team can give you advice as to the work that should be carried out. It is a good local option for people who look after the vehicles they depend on during the week.
Thank You for Supporting the Poppies
We would like to express our thanks to all at FW Abbott for having continued their partnership with Kettering Town FC; we value their support and are looking forward to further developing our relationship.
If you require assistance with your vehicle you can look at the services listed above or get in touch with FW Abbott directly on 01536 518890 for cars and vans or 01536 517704 for questions concerning HGVs.
When you choose to back the businesses which support the Poppies, you are helping to strengthen the local ties within our club.
