Local MP Recognises Volunteers Valued Contribution

Ahead of the Kettering Town v AFC Sudbury match on 19th October 2024, the Poppies hosted a popular visitor, local Labour MP Rosie Wrighting. Rosie, a regular at Latimer Park, took time before the fixture to speak to club officials, visitors and media students from Tresham College who were undertaking work experience whilst at the club.

Rosie also had the opportunity to present Recognition of Valued Service Awards to three key volunteers, Sue Samuel, Bryony Gates and Martin Bellamy. Whilst collectively they have all provided many years of service to the club, individually, they have enriched the lives of others, particularly those KTFC and visiting fans and officials. Each has shown ongoing initiative, leadership, and dedication. Devoting themselves to sustained and selfless voluntary service to Kettering Town Football club and have earned the respect of their peers as well as becoming a role model for other volunteers.

The club are delighted to recognise their fantastic achievements and thank them for their valued contribution to the Poppies.
