Poppies sign Stewart!

Kettering Town are delighted to announce the signing of central defender Anthony Stewart.

The 33-year-old defender joins the club, bringing a wealth of experience and leadership qualities to our backline. Known for his physical presence, aerial dominance, and committed defending, Stewart is a significant addition as we build for the season ahead.

Stewart began his career at Wycombe Wanderers, making over 200 appearances and captaining the side, before a spell in the Scottish Premiership with Aberdeen. His proven track record and professionalism make him an ideal fit for our project.

Manager Simon Hollyhead said: “We’re thrilled to bring Anthony to the club. He is a natural leader, a proper defender who puts his body on the line, and brings exactly the kind of character and experience we need in the dressing room. He will be a huge asset for us both on and off the pitch.”
