IrelandGoalkeeper Paul White re-joined the Club after recently leaving Rushall Olympic. Paul had a superb first stint with the club amassing 159 appearances keeping 52 clean sheets since his debut against St Neots Town in September 2016. Paul was a member of the 2018-19 Championship winning side conceding just 13 away goals, the second-best statistic in Kettering’s post war history. He has saved 9 penalties in his career and was instrumental in the shoot-out success against Corby Town at Sixfields in the Northants Senior Cup Final.
After leaving the Poppies, Paul joined Hereford, St Ives Town, Peterborough Sports, Coalville Town and Rushall. The former Republic of Ireland U18 international is a great stopper who always gives 100% on the field. His passion and desire to succeed is paramount. The Club is thrilled to have signed Paul, subject to league approval, and he is a valuable first addition to the 2025_2026 squad.

The club is delighted to announce that it has signed central defender George Forsyth for the 2025_2026 campaign.
George is now back at the Poppies for this third spell with the club, having made 45 appearances and scoring 2 goals, joining the rosta of only eight players that have returned the club three times or more in our illustrious past.
George left the club in June 2023 and joined AFC Telford United. He returned on loan to the Poppies in January 2024 from the Bucks and played an integral part (as captain) in keeping the club from avoiding relegation with some excellent performances. He returned to AFC Telford after his loan spell expired, and later re-joined Bromsgrove Sporting for the onset of the 2024-25 season, later playing for Banbury United.
The club welcomes Fozzy back to Latimer Park and wishes him every success this season.

Kettering Town are delighted to announce that Lewis Coyle’s loan with the Poppies has been extended.
The popular player joined Poppies in November from Bedford Town having begun his footballing career at Kidlington FC in 2016, where he made over 80 appearances and scored over 15 goals across the league and cup games, before moving to Thatcham Town in 2018.
Lewis has made an immediate impact for the Poppies and has been a regular in Liam McDonald’s first team squad.

Anthony played for Aberdeen in the Scottish Premier League and was the Dons captain. He also scored for Wycombe against Oxford United at Wembley Stadium in the EPL League Play-off final. Anthony made 253 appearances for the Buckinghamshire club.

William Van Lier is a creative midfielder who has joined us on loan from National League North club King’s Lynn Town FC. Van Lier joined the youth system at Peterborough United in 2012 and was part of the team that reached the FA Youth Cup fourth round in 2021–22 winning the LFE Goal of The Month award for March 2022. He signed a two-year professional development contract in May 2022. William made his first-team debut in an EFL Trophy game on 21 November 2023 and in July 2024, signed for Peterborough Sports where he scored his first goal for the club in a 3–1 over Oxford City. July 2025 saw William joining King’s Lynn Town and, in September 2025, he joined Leamington on loan.

While at Bolton Connor went on loan to Bamber Bridge, FC United of Manchester (loan) before a spell in the Vanarama National League North with Hereford. He also played at Stourbridge, and Alvechurch before signing for the Puritans (Banbury United) where he played in both games against the Poppies during the 2024-25 season.

Alfie is a product of the West Ham United academy and was part of the Hammers first team squad, without making a first-class appearance. He went on loan from West Ham to St Patrick’s Athletic, of the League of Ireland Premier before joining them full-time. Leaving Ireland, Alfie joined Plymouth Argyle, playing in EFL League One and the FA Cup for the Pilgrims. After leaving Argyle he joined Dundalk in the League of Ireland First Division before joining Aveley FC in the Vanarama National League South where he made 18 appearances, last term.

He has also represented England at the under-18, under-19 and under-20 international levels.

Kettering Town are delighted to announce that Eddie Panter has signed for the Poppies.
Eddie, a centre forward, began his senior career at Bugbrooke St. Michaels, before moving to Harborough Town and Biggleswade Town. Panter then joined Bedford Town in October of 2024, played thirty games for The Eagles and was vital in their title success last season including scoring a brace in an important 3-1 win over Halesowen Town, his first two goals for the club. He played in the November 2024 2-2 draw at Latimer Park for Bedford Town and was sent off after a fracas with Kelly Evans. However, Eddie is a proven goal scorer at this level and, with his extensive experience, will be an exciting addition to Liam McDonald’s squad ready for Saturday’s home match against Stourbridge.
The Club’s owner George Akhtar commented “We need a rebuild to create a Liam McDonald team and this is a significant signing in the right direction to support him.”

Kettering Town FC is delighted to announce the signing of striker Nathan Jeche, a powerful 20-year-old centre forward with an eye for goal and the pace and power that always cause defenders problems, arrives with an impressive CV. Nathan signed his first professional contract at QPR at 18 where he was top goal scorer and voted player of the season. His previous clubs include Maidstone United, Hemel Hempstead, Cray Wanderers and Whitstable Town FC. Jeche made his debut with Maidstone United FC in National league, scored on his debut for Whitstable in the FA Vase quarter final and was a Wembley winner.

After relocating for work after Covid lock downs were lifted he had two seasons working between coach and Director of Football within the National League North and Southern League Premier.
Currently a UEFA A Licence (level 4) candidate, Talent ID Licence (level 4) and accredited Performance Analyst with the International Society of Performance Analysis of Sports.

Jacob has played the game to a high standard across leagues in Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, and London and started coaching in the 2023/2024 season at Brackley Town Youth Development Centre. Recruited by Simon and his Management Team at Banbury United as First Team Scout for the 2024/2025 season
prior to joining the Poppies at Kettering Town. He also serves as Women’s First Team & Girls Pathway Scout at MK Dons.
Jacob has achieved qualifications in FA Level 1 in Coaching, FA Talent Identification Level 1, UEFA C Licence and is currently working towards FA Level 2 Talent Identification. Jacob compliments Simon’s management team by applying meticulous and insightful reporting with in-depth player and team-based knowledge combined with exceptional organisational skills.

Shoheib has extensive experience, knowledge and practical application of strength and conditioning practices to optimise player performance and minimise injury risk the majority of which was gained at his three seasons whilst at Mansfield Town FC. He will support the first team by specifically undertaking GPS and load monitoring, hydration interventions and diet/nutrition plans.

James has 10 years of experience in non-league football at various levels, working to progress up the pyramid including working with teams who has achieved automatic promotion and reaching cup finals as well as developing players within clubs through tactical and technical coaching.
He is delighted to be a local coach involved in the football club and have a drive and determination to do well for the club and help build from the inside, supporting the manager and players as well as developing young talent to bring through in the future by coaching one of the junior academy sides.

Michael is a Sports Rehabilitator with experience across both academy and first team football environments. He previously worked within the sports science department at Northampton town FC’s academy, and supported the First Team Head of Medical at Northampton Town FC as a Sports Therapist Intern, gaining valuable insight into elite level rehabilitation and player care during their League One campaign.
Now in his third season as the club’s Sports Rehabilitator, Michael brings consistency, professionalism, and a strong foundation in injury assessment, rehabilitation planning, and evidence-based practice. currently completing his MSc in Physiotherapy, he is committed to continually developing his clinical expertise to provide the highest standard of care – helping players return to performance safely and efficiently.

Bridgy has been part of Liam McDonald’s management team as First Team Coach for over 13 seasons along with Assistant Manager Nick Green. Previously First Team Coach at Redditch United FC, Hednesford Town FC, Solihull Moors FC, Rushall Olympic FC and Stourbridge FC.
David’s playing career that started at Preston North End FC as an apprentice having spent most of his school boy years at Aston Villa FC. After his 2 year apprenticeship he signed professional forms for Telford United FC playing in the National League. After 2 seasons at Telford he had a 3 year stint playing professionally for TNS FC in the Welsh Premier League where he gained 6 Europa League (UEFA Cup) appearances. He signed for Aberystwyth Town FC playing semi-professionally gaining 2 more European appearances playing in the Europa Conference League (Intertoto Cup) before returning to the English system and signing for Moor Green FC (Solihull Moors FC) playing in the National North for 3 seasons and Bromsgrove Rover FC. He has also played at step 2 with Kings Lynn Town FC while spending the later years of his career at step 3 playing for several Midlands clubs including Redditch United FC, Hednesford Town FC, Chasetown FC, Stourbridge FC and Rushall Olympic FC. David also has 15 caps representing England at Futsal.
